Hello!
So nice to meet you.
I'm Tai Petrofsky. I've always loved writing as a way to express both my creativity and also to dig a little deeper into themes that resonate deep within my soul.
I was raised in the beautiful state of Pennsylvania, and though I lived in Canada after marrying my husband, I am thrilled to be back in the beautiful state I grew up calling home, giving my kiddos the same life I had as a child.
I have written and self-published several books and magazines when I was younger, but have been honing my craft and working hard to learn new things, so I can bring my ideas for clean fantasy novels to life in an even more engaging and meaningful way.
My current goal is to write the books I've always wanted to read, and those that I can't wait for my daughter to read.
I have always enjoyed reading books about distant lands, full of adventure, courage, and whimsy. I enjoy sipping coffee, sitting in the sunshine, and soaking in the beauty of nature.
I love Jesus, and my joy and worth comes first and foremost from Him. It is from the depths of gratitude I have for His salvation, that I write.

Coming Soon...
Current work in Progress
I am currently working on writing a fantasy adventure (or perhaps there's more... - that's a little tease).
There will be more info soon...but for now, enjoy the following snippets into some of the included elements.
First...
...yes. There will be dragons.
But maybe you've never met them this way before...

...there will also be...
so much more.
A special library. A missing loved-one. Sacrifice. Flower gardens. Forbidden magic. Hidden identities. Tousled hair. Political intrigue. Old books. Found family. He falls first. Dancing in the rain. Hidden worlds. A dark threat. And truth that rises against all odds.
A SNIPPET FROM WHAT I'M CURRENTLY WRITING...
"The wind gave a low hum as it greedily pushed its way beneath the sturdy wooden door. Thalia leaned against it, thankful for its solid strength, as she hastily shoved her feet into black leather boots. The strong perfume of damp dirt and the freshness that comes from sky kissing earth overpowered her as she threw the door open, aided by the wind.
She sighed, not because the impending ill weather was a surprise to her, but because she had convinced herself that it would wait for her return before unleashing its displeasure upon the world below.
Glancing around the room in the increasingly dim light, her eyes fell upon her mother's shawl, which she quickly grabbed off of the back of the sitting chair where it lay folded, and threw it over her shoulders. It enveloped her in its warm scent - cedar and cloves and the lingering aroma of applewood smoke from the fireplace, which could often be found lit on chilly evenings - of which there had been many of late.
The unseasonable chill was weaving its enchantment in her soul, drawing her to quiet places where she could read of mythical lands far more intriguing than her own, and beckoning her to pen her own tales in the stillness. Tales of conquering heroes, powerful queens, and vast unexplored expanses full of beauty and mystique.
It was to this end that she set out in spite of the gathering gloom; the swish of her skirts keeping up with the rhythmic pounding of her heart, as she slipped through the cobblestone streets on her way to the library."
Thank you for believing in my work.
